4th Grade Highlights

for September

      We're so excited to be back in school as 4th graders!  We're looking forward to learning more about God and His world in all our different subject areas.

     Some highlights of our academic month are: learning the Old and New Testament books in Bible as well as reviewing the writing of the Bible and the first eight books; reviewing addition and subtraction facts, place value and time in math; introductory work about our fifty states in social studies; plant and animal classification in science; work with sentences and nouns in language; as well as daily reading lessons, weekly spelling lessons and cursive writing review.

     Some important dates to remember:

          6 - Labor Day (no school)

        22 - Chapel @ 9:10 am

        24 - Fall Festival (l/2 day)

        27ff - ITBS testing
