The computer lab at LCS is used by many students. At this time we are using Ainsworth Keyboard Trainer to teach the children in grades 5 and 6 how to " touch type" and Microsoft Office 2007 to teach basic office skills.
The lab is equipped with 25 HP computers (new spring 2009) running Windows XP Professional and one HP server running Fedora Core 10. The JR High students come to the lab to brush up on their typing skills and to learn more about Microsoft Office.
Children in grades 1 - 6 use a program called Math-O-Matic to help them with their math skills.
