Welcome back to school everyone. I hope you all had a great summer vacation and are now ready to take up your school work at LCS. I was blessed by God with the opportunity to spend some time with children and grandchildren this summer and do some gardening and sports activities. It is always good to be back at LCS and begin another year of working in Christian Education. The 7th graders will spend this year studying American History beginning with the years of European exploration and colonization.
The 8th grade class will spend the first semester learning about the Christian principles of government and studying the federal Constitution. I will also be teaching literature to the 2 8th grade sections this year.
We will begin our study of literature this year by following our main text and read a variety of short fiction selections.
May everyone make a good adjustment to the routine of a new school year and once again I am priviledged to be a part of another year at LCS.
