7th grade InformationOur field trip is scheduled for Friday, September 17.We will be going to Millennium Park and to Wendella boats for a tour of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan.Please be sure that the permission slips and payment is in by September 14th. The theme for this years basket for the Fall Festival is Family Vacation. If you are interested in making a contribution for this, please send it in by Friday, September 10

Welcome to Ms. Zinnen's Class I hope everyone had a good summer. It's time to get back into the swing of things. 7th Grade Science We will be starting with a review of scientific method and the metric system. Then on to Chemistry. 8th Grade Science A quick review of scientific method and metrics will be followed by a unit on Ecology . 7th grade Literature We will look at various types of fiction and non-fiction throughout the year. Story-board book reports are due on September 29th. Students have all the materials and directions for this assignment. Outside reading information was given to students. Outside reading is 25% of the Literature grade. 250 pages for a C 500 pages for a B 750 pages for an A This assignment is due on October 11. It may be turned in early, but I will not accept them after this date. Science Projects. If your student has not completed a project toward his/her graduation requirement, this would be a good time to do so. All students are required to complete at least one project while at LCS.
