Junior High Warrior Bowl
Let’s knock down some pins! Students have a great time trying their best at bowling.
Are they wanting a spare? Possibly a strike? Maybe three strikes in a row (a TURKEY)?!
This is a fun and interactive way for students to help financially support the mission of LCS. Our Warrior Bowl is a student fundraising event (which takes place in January), that involves all students in 6th-8th grade.
In the past, we have had our funds go toward the Athletic Program or the General Fund.
Each student participating contacts grandparents, neighbors, aunts, uncles, church members and other supporters of Christian education for pledges. Pledges can be for a specific dollar amount or based on how many bowling pins a student knocks down.
On your mark, get set, GO! This is the fundraiser where our students lace up their running shoes and strive to get as many laps as they can — to support LCS!
Our Warrior Run is a student fundraising event (which takes place in May) that involves all students in grades K-5. Each child will run/walk for 30 minutes around an approximate 200-meter lap in the field. We always encourage parents to come out for this event and cheer for their children!
Each child participating receives a certificate with the total amount of laps they have run or walked, a corresponding ribbon for those laps, Gatorade to quench their thirst and a popsicle!
Students are encouraged to contact grandparents, neighbors, aunts, uncles, church members and other supporters of Christian education for pledges. Those who sponsor have the opportunity to donate per lap or to give a one-time donation.
All of the proceeds go toward reducing the cost of education for all students.
