I have taught for more than 20 years in Lutheran elementary schools. I also served as an adjunct
professor at Concordia University Chicago for five years while working on my PhD.

About Me
I grew up in Homer Glen, Illinois, and I live there now with my husband Ron, my mom, our
cocker spaniel, Elmer, and a cat that recently showed up on our doorstep. I love where we live
because it’s all woodsy. When I spend time in God’s creation, I am reminded of how amazing
our Creator is. I love to share my appreciation of nature with my students because God has
woven so many valuable lessons into the world He has made for us.
