In junior high we focus on developing children into Godly young adults by daily instruction through a Christian lens. Classes involve individual and independent work, as well as small- and whole-group activities. Students begin and end their day with their homeroom class. They switch classes throughout the day, learning different subjects from teachers that are experts in that content. Teacher-led instruction reminds students of the Christian values we share. Students learn how to develop their own relationships with God and those around them. They will explore how God has been faithful and in control throughout the ages and how this can be seen in all subjects – even math, history, and language arts. At this point in their educational journey, students also begin to explore extra-curricular interests and gifts through optional classes and activities like band, choir, drama, and athletics.
